A bit about the job: You’ll manage a varied portfolio of complex and major commercial property claims, working with internal teams and external specialists to deliver fair, timely outcomes. You’ll coordinate investigations, site visits, and expert appointments to keep each claim moving smoothly. You’ll build strong relationships with brokers and clients, ensuring clear communication throughout every stage. You’ll use your technical judgement to make confident decisions, challenge costs, and identify fraud or recovery opportunities. You’ll shape how we improve processes and technology within our Commercial Property team, helping us deliver even better results for our customers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for (essential):
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property claims and policy conditions.
- Ability to make clear, balanced decisions under pressure.
- Great communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience in managing major or complex losses is a plus.
- Commercial awareness to challenge costs and improve efficiency.
