A bit about the job:
- Handle Pet and Creditor claims from notification through to settlement, ensuring claims are managed fairly, efficiently, and in line with policy terms and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by supporting customers through their claim journey, providing clear communication and managing expectations throughout.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality through effective claim validation, record keeping, fraud identification, reserving, payments, and cost control.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to improve customer outcomes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to team performance.
- Develop and maintain specialist product knowledge, acting as a subject matter expert within the team and supporting colleagues when required.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience in claims handling, insurance, financial services, or a customer-focused environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and manage customer expectations effectively.
- Ability to make informed decisions while applying policy terms, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift basis:
- Week 1: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Week 2: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Week 3: 9:30am - 5:30pm
- Week 4: 10:00am - 6:00pm

What you'll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £28,607 and £28,821 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's).
