We are hiring a newly qualified surveyor to Senior Surveyor (depending on the individual) in our Place Advisory team in Central London. The role will require experience in working across development consulting projects, undertaking appraisals and providing strategic advice to public & private sector clients across residential and mixed-use regeneration opportunities.
- Undertaking viability and feasibility analysis and valuations across development and regeneration opportunities utilizing both Excel and software such as ARGUS developer
- Supporting general consultancy practice with range of public and private sector clients.
- Report writing
- Raising your profile and that of the wider PLACE team with external and internal networking
- Undertake professional advice in respect of development appraisals, strategic advice and marketing activities to generate consultancy income.
- Advising Local Authorities, developers and landowners on living and commercial delivery viability issues.
- Assisting in providing strategic advice on delivery structures including development agreements and joint ventures.
- Assisting with partner procurement processes on major residential-led mixed-use and commercial lead projects.
- Assisting with project managing portfolio consultancy work.
Essential skills include:
- Strong financial analysis capabilities
- Experience with Development Appraisals, viability and feasibility analysis
- Proficiency in Argus Developer
- Awareness of market intelligence
- Excellent communication skills
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and passionate about placemaking and regeneration with the ability to manage the workload of multiple projects. Strong project experience MRICS Chartership (desirable). This position will provide career development opportunities within a team delivering projects across London and the South East.
