Responsibilities: To assist in the delivery of various financial reports and manage the day to day accounts processes for a portfolio of clients and be part of a cohesive and well balanced team.
- Preparing monthly & quarterly management accounts. Analysing variances and providing commentary and explanations on those variances.
- Undertaking balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Preparing bank compliance/debt covenant reports and managing the pay over of net rents.
- Managing funding requirements and cash flow and liaising with suppliers.
- Preparing VAT returns and CIS returns and liaising with the relevant tax authorities.
- Assisting in the year end audit process, providing supporting information and liaising with external auditors.
- Delivering additional adhoc reports as required by the client and internal stakeholders.
- Dealing with queries from clients, tenants and suppliers and responding in a timely manner.
- Ensuring accurate and timely database updates. E.g. regularly reviewing tenancy schedules.
- Continually reviewing processes and systems to ensure that QA is being adhered to.
- Attending with senior members of the team client finance meetings.
Qualifications: Ideal for any individual with motivation to learn and develop any existing skills. The selected candidate will have the following:
- Experience in preparing accounts to PL and Balance Sheet stage
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to deal with high volumes of work and prioritise accordingly
- Excellent communication skills
