Senior Surveyor – Place Advisory Team
We are looking for a newly qualified surveyor, with the potential to become a Senior Surveyor, to join our Place Advisory team in Central London.
The role will involve working across development consulting projects, conducting appraisals and providing strategic advice to public and private sector clients for residential and mixed‑use regeneration opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Undertake viability and feasibility analysis and valuations using Excel and ARGUS Developer.
- Support general consultancy practice on a range of public and private sector clients.
- Deliver report writing and prepare presentations.
- Build and maintain networking relationships to enhance the profile of the Place team.
- Provide professional advice on development appraisals, strategic planning and marketing activities to generate consultancy income.
- Advise Local Authorities, developers and landowners on living and commercial delivery viability.
- Assist in delivering strategic advice on delivery structures, including development agreements and joint ventures.
- Support partner procurement processes on major residential‑led mixed‑use and commercial lead projects.
- Help manage portfolio consultancy work and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
- Strong financial analysis capabilities.
- Experience with development appraisals, viability and feasibility analysis.
- Proficiency in ARGUS Developer.
- Awareness of market intelligence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercially minded and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management experience.
- MRICS chartership (desirable).
