This role supports the delivery of financial reporting and day-to-day accounting processes for a portfolio of clients. You will collaborate closely with a balanced team, provide financial analysis, and ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and analyze variances with commentary.
- Execute balance-sheet reconciliations, including bank, accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce bank compliance and debt covenant reports and manage net rent collections.
- Manage funding requirements and cash flow, liaising with suppliers.
- Prepare VAT and CIS returns and coordinate with tax authorities.
- Assist with year-end audit processes, supplying information and liaising with external auditors.
- Deliver ad-hoc reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Respond to client, tenant and supplier queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate database updates, reviewing tenancy schedules regularly.
- Continuously evaluate processes to uphold quality assurance standards.
- Attend finance meetings with senior team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience preparing PL and balance-sheet stage accounts.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
