We have a requirement in our Building Team based in Birmingham. We are currently considering applications from newly qualified Building Surveyors through to Associate Directors with the drive to self‑business generate, manage instructions from inception and exceed our client’s expectations. You will be confident shaping challenging projects from initial client briefing through to project design, preparation and site supervision, undertaking all aspects of due diligence and consultancy‑based instructions. Based in our Birmingham offices you will work on a variety of professional and project work for investors, lenders, occupiers, developers and the public sector. Our broad client mix offers opportunities for travel around the UK and further afield with exposure to a diverse range of property types.

Building Consultancy in Birmingham is extremely successful and provides Building surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Mechanical and Electrical services to its clients. Qualifications
The successful candidate should be a well‑rounded ambitious Chartered Building Surveyor with a solid background in technical due diligence work, professional and project work. Candidates would ideally have experience working in the office, and industrial sectors, and with fund orientated clients. Experience working with Local and/or Central Government clients will also be beneficial in this role. We welcome candidates keen to maintain a mixed and flexible “diet” of varied surveying work whilst working with us to continue to expand our client base, whilst servicing existing and established clients. You are expected to be fully comfortable with working in a multi‑disciplinary Chartered Surveying and Engineering environment, shall be conversant with the West Midlands market and have excellent technical skills and commercial acumen.
