We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a General Cleaner and Kitchen Porter across various locations in London. This is a blended role that combines maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas with supporting kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all designated areas, including public spaces, restrooms, offices, and staff facilities, are clean, tidy, and hygienic.
- Carry out regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitisers, and paper towels.
- Support kitchen staff with cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Assist in organising and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in cleaning or kitchen porter roles is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Valid Right to Work (RTW) documents.
- Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Last 5 years’ employment history letter(s) or references.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
