The Returns Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and professional return of rental vehicles, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and asset management. This role involves managing scheduling, teamwork, outsource supplier relationships, stock control, and performance targets to ensure a seamless customer experience and the effective turnover of fleet vehicles. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth and efficient return process while maintaining customer satisfaction, optimizing fleet availability, and managing operational targets effectively.
- Oversee vehicle returns process, ensuring quality checks and efficient operations
- Develop and manage return schedules to optimize vehicle availability and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with rental and fleet teams for effective vehicle management
- Handle customer interactions professionally, addressing concerns and improving service
- Manage vehicle inspections, damage assessments, and coordinate repairs
