  • What you'll be doing
  • Develop and deliver ABG's commercial strategy across business and leisure travel channels.
  • Lead and grow strategic partner relationships, acting as the senior commercial point of contact.
  • Create and execute account plans focused on revenue, profitability, rental volume and share of wallet.
  • Coach and guide telesales agents, setting objectives and driving performance.
  • Build joint business plans, negotiate commercial agreements and lead contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve partner performance, distribution and connectivity.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support bids, tenders and client presentations.
  • Monitor market and competitor developments to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work with Operations and Customer Service to resolve issues and improve the traveller experience.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline reporting and account performance.
  • Represent ABG at partner meetings and industry events, with regular UK and European travel.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in strategic account management, business development and commercial growth within the travel industry.
  • Ideally, experience spanning both leisure travel and business travel/TMC sectors.
  • A strong track record of developing strategic partnerships and growing revenue and margin.
  • Experience managing diverse partner relationships, from travel agents and tour operators to complex corporate accounts.
  • Confidence negotiating commercial agreements and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching and developing sales or account management teams.
  • Good understanding of leisure and corporate travel distribution, including TMCs, GDS platforms and online booking tools.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and relationship-building skills.
  • What success looks like
