Role Overview
Marketing Transformation Manager (Mar Tech, AI & Adoption) – 12‑month fixed‑term contract at IAG Loyalty.
This role works with the marketing team to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and impact through AI, behavioural science and smarter ways of working.
The position is based out of the London office and follows a hybrid working model, requiring at least two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for AI, automation and marketing technology to reduce manual effort, improve productivity and free up time for high‑value activities.
- Build and deliver AI tools to marketing teams.
- Evaluate, test and implement new tools and capabilities, ensuring they solve genuine business problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Measure and track transformation impact – resource savings, cost efficiencies, adoption rates and marketing performance improvements.
- Work closely with campaign managers and marketing teams to embed behavioural science principles into planning and execution.
- Influence stakeholders across marketing to adopt new approaches, building understanding, confidence and commitment to change.
- Act as a trusted partner, helping teams understand the value of new tools and ways of working.
- Ensure transformation initiatives are embedded in day‑to‑day activity and deliver lasting behavioural change.
- Deliver the marketing transformation roadmap, ensuring initiatives drive measurable improvements in effectiveness, efficiency and ways of working.
- Collaborate with colleagues across marketing, data, technology and insight functions to align initiatives and deliver meaningful value.
- Navigate dependencies, challenges and competing priorities to keep initiatives moving forward and maintain momentum.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, digital transformation or a similar role focused on improving marketing effectiveness.
- In‑depth understanding of how marketing teams use technology and experience implementing, embedding or optimising tools and platforms that support delivery.
- Experience with AI‑enabled tools, automation platforms or emerging technologies and ability to apply them practically to deliver business value.
- Understanding of the connection between marketing technology, customer data, insight, customer experience and commercial performance.
- Strong track record of influencing stakeholders and driving adoption, especially where success depends on changing behaviours.
- Comfortable working with campaign managers and Marketing, Retail and Commercial stakeholders, helping them embrace new approaches and realise the benefits of change.
- Experience introducing new methodologies, frameworks or capabilities into established teams and ensuring they become part of day‑to‑day ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex ideas clearly to specialist and non‑specialist audiences.
- Practical, outcome‑focused mindset and motivation to deliver measurable results.
- Resilience, patience and ability to influence, persuade and build relationships in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently and move initiatives forward.
- Experience applying behavioural science principles within marketing is highly beneficial.
