Do you come from a field marketing, tactical or activation background? Are you an experienced Client Account lead looking for an exciting opportunity with great career progression? Home based with travel. Location flexible but ideally based within easy commute of Southeast/London. £45-52k, + car allowance (£5,760 per annum), bonus, private health care, life assurance and other benefits.

Zing, which plays an integral part of the overall Avidity growth plan, is in significant growth due to brands increasing appetite for agile and dynamic field solutions. We are on the lookout for an experienced senior level Account Manager to join the Zing team. As Account Manager you will have the opportunity to represent multiple exciting, high-profile brands who want us to help them sell more. You will own the day-to-day relationships with your client portfolio as well as establishing and converting new business opportunities, supported by the wider Avidity Group.

Avidity is the parent company of a group of agencies offering a range of specialist sales and marketing services to help brands sell more. Our clients include some of the biggest brand names in sectors such as FMCG Retail, Technology, Professional Beauty, and On-Trade. You will work autonomously, translating your clients strategic, brand and commercial objectives into a tailored agile service, while playing a big part in driving new business through nurturing and growing current client relationships and supporting the Zing business strategy.

Ideally you will have a proven track record in identifying new opportunities through to pitching and converting these into new business. A large part of your role will also involve working with data, so having strong analytical and reporting skills whilst being able to translate into a compelling story is essential. You will need fantastic engagement and relationship skills to adapt your style and collaboratively ensure successful delivery, bringing the client and the team with you.

Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day relationships with your client portfolio and establish new business opportunities, supported by the wider Avidity Group.
  • Represent multiple brands and translate client objectives into a tailored agile service.
  • Support and drive new business through nurturing and growing existing client relationships and executing Zing's new business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities from initial prospecting through to pitching and conversion.
  • Work with data, providing analytical insights and translating findings into compelling narratives.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment of commercial objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Commercial experience within FMCG (and Field Marketing) with Account Management experience or similar.
  • Multi-client management at senior level; thrives in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Multi-channel expertise – Grocery, Mults and Convenience.
  • Data-driven with strong numerical skills and ability to tell the story with data.
  • Solutions-focused and committed to excellence in execution.
  • Client and team management experience; ability to lead a team if required.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills (PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills at all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to translate commercial direction and strategic requirements into field briefing; adaptable for collaborative working with field and commercial teams.
  • High energy, resilience and calm under pressure; comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (including overnights) to client sites and Head Office as needed.

Requirements

This role requires a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points or prior bans). All offers are subject to successful completion of a DVLA licence check. You will be field-based at times with regular travel; overnight stays may be required.
