Join Our Team as a Warehouse Operative at Avidity Science! Avidity Science is looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to support the day‑to‑day running of our warehouse at our facility in Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire. This is a full‑time, site‑based role in a fast‑moving but well‑organised environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring parts and products are received, stored, picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time to support our Production and customer delivery commitments.
Role Location & Working Pattern
- Pay: Up to £28,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- Location: Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire (HP18 9BA)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
- Role type: Full‑time, on‑site
You’ll need to live within a reasonable commutable distance and have an existing right to work in the UK.

Your Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the effective operation of the warehouse by carrying out a variety of tasks throughout the day, including:
- Accurately managing Goods In and Goods Out processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Preparing and processing palletised and parcel shipments using designated systems
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting regular stock takes
- Safely loading/unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet trucks)
- Supporting logistics documentation and maintaining compliant records
- Liaising with internal teams to coordinate incoming and outgoing goods
- Assisting with deliveries, equipment handling, and cylinder regeneration as required
- Upholding high standards of housekeeping, health & safety, and operational compliance
- Reporting issues and supporting the wider logistics team with additional duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone dependable, organised and able to work well as part of a team in a fast‑moving environment:
- You will ideally have:
- Experience picking and packing orders to meet daily deadlines
- Experience processing outbound shipments using courier software
- Confidence palletising shipments safely and efficiently
- Experience with goods‑in activities, including receipt of goods
- An eye for detail to support quality checks
- Experience putting goods away accurately and efficiently
- Experience with labelling and re‑labelling stock
- Confidence reading and responding to emails as part of your daily role
- Basic Excel skills and general IT confidence
- Sage 200 stock control experience (beneficial but not required)
- Previous forklift experience (an advantage, but not essential)
- Good written/verbal English
- Full UK Driving Licence
