Avidity Science is recruiting a Business Development Manager – Healthcare (UK) to drive growth across our Clinical and Decontamination portfolios. This is a national, field‑based role focused on new business acquisition, account development, and project‑led solution selling within the healthcare sector.
You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our UK healthcare footprint, working closely with customers, OEM partners and internal project teams to deliver high‑quality, value‑driven solutions that genuinely improve patient environments. This role is UK‑wide and will involve extensive travel.
Salary up to £70,000, commensurate with experience, plus sales commissions opportunity and car allowance.

As Business Development Manager – Healthcare (UK), you will:
- Drive growth of Avidity Science’s Healthcare (Clinical and Decontamination) business across the UK, working closely with the UK Business Development Manager.
- Identify, develop and win new business opportunities and accounts, with a strong focus on NHS and healthcare environments.
- Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting and governance through Salesforce.
- Engage with end users and OEM partners to deliver complex, solution‑based and project‑led sales.
- Collaborate closely with internal project teams to ensure smooth handover and successful project execution.
- Deliver system handover training to customers, ensuring a seamless transition to customer support teams.
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships across clinical, estates, procurement and engineering stakeholders.
Healthcare Business Development Experience: A proven track record in business development, with demonstrable success in winning new business within the UK healthcare sector.
Solution & Project Selling Expertise: Experience selling complex, solution‑based or project‑led offerings rather than transactional products.
Commercial & Influencing Skills: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and close deals at multiple levels of an organisation.
Proactive, results‑oriented and comfortable working autonomously in a national, field‑based role.
CRM Discipline: Comfortable managing pipelines, forecasts and opportunity data within CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred).
Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK.
Consistent growth in new business revenue within the healthcare segment. Expansion of the Clinical and Decontamination account base across the UK. High‑quality project delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.
