Location: Glasgow (Hybrid working)

Contract - Full time, 6 months fixed term contract with the potential to lead to longer term opportunities

Salary range: up to £27,000 per annum plus benefits

Our finance team is looking for a Finance Assistant to join them in Glasgow. If you’re organised, proactive, and enjoy working with both numbers and people, this could be the role for you!

What you will be doing:

  • Working within our fantastic finance team, supporting the full Avidity Group company.
  • Preparing key month end journals, sales & purchase transactions, expenses and much more!
  • Preparing and processing month end journals.
  • Completing weekly cashbooks on NetSuite and preparing bank reconciliations.
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Working closely with our HR and Client Teams, managing manual banking payments as required.
  • Assisting with processing of monthly expenses and supporting with the expenses mailbox.
  • Assisting with preparation work for year end and audit.

Do you have what it takes?

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role before, and you will be comfortable with debits and credits. Experience of Excel is an absolute must! You will also have the following:

  • Great attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Work well within a team environment and enjoy collaborating with others.
  • High level of communication skills.
  • Financial ledger experience eg NetSuite, SAP, Xero.
