Job Description

Market Manager – Meta

Territory covers: North of England & surrounding areas (other locations also available)

Full time, 12 months fixed term contract

Working days: Wednesday – Sunday

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum plus a performance related bonus and company vehicle.

Join McCurrach as a Market Manager representing Meta and help drive sales for their Virtual Reality and Home Technology portfolio.

This role is perfect for a dynamic, innovative individual who thrives in retail environments and wants to represent a world-renowned brand while contributing to a high-performing team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Sales Experience: A proven track record in sales, with the ability to engage customers and drive results.
  • Passion for technology: An interest in technology or experience within the technology sector, especially VR and Smart Glasses.
  • Consumer Electronics & Field Sales Experience: Previous experience with consumer electronics or field sales teams is a plus.
  • Training & Coaching Skills: Experience in training or coaching retail staff is beneficial.
  • Creativity & Engagement: Ability to create engaging content and run virtual events with energy and creativity.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK manual driving licence is required, with occasional travel and overnight stays.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Sales & Demonstrations: Drive sales through engaging product demos, tailoring your approach to showcase the best features of VR and Smart Glasses. Convert interest into sales and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Brand Advocacy & Training: Train retail staff on VR headsets and Smart Glasses, ensuring they have the knowledge to sell confidently and effectively.
  • Sales Initiatives & Strategy: Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Clients to develop and implement strategies that drive performance and meet sales goals.
  • Insights & Data-Driven Actions: Gather insights from retail stores, competitors, and market trends to inform actions that keep you ahead of the curve.
  • Events & Engagement: Organise and execute engaging pop-up events to boost product visibility, engage customers, and drive sales results.
  • Fixture Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure product displays are clean, compliant, and optimised for sales.
  • Data-Led Planning: Own your territory, using sales data to refine and optimise strategies for continuous growth.
