Your New Role with Avicenna:
- You will ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to enhance the success of the pharmacy by providing excellent customer service.
- Key responsibilities will be:
- Dispense items into compliance aids or monitored dosage systems, when appropriate.
- Check that receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter has been correctly performed and verify stock availability on acceptance of prescription.
- Provide excellent levels of customer service to all customers to ensure needs and requirements are met/exceeded.
- Support other services as required by the pharmacy and identify opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum.
- Clinically check all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interaction. When interaction is identified, make the RP aware so that the prescriber is contacted.
