Overview
You will ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to enhance the success of the pharmacy by providing an excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Dispense items into compliance aids or monitored dosage systems, when appropriate.
- Check that receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter has been correctly performed and verify stock availability on acceptance of prescription.
- Provide excellent levels of customer service to all customers to ensure needs and requirements are met or exceeded.
- Support other services as required by the pharmacy and identify opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum.
- Clinically check all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interactions. When an interaction is identified, inform the RP so that the prescriber can be contacted.
- Dispensing NVQ Level 2 Qualification.
- Experience working in retail or a customer‑focused background.
- A caring and confident manner when serving and advising patients.
- Excellent attention to detail.
