Bellow & Gimbal Production Operative Shift Pattern - Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) / (Apply online only)) To manufacture and machine various assemblies using recognised trade skills under the supervision of a Team Leader. Producing quality finished components to drawings and routing requirements that meet Aerospace standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assembling and welding using a resistance/seam welding machine to customer requirements using various metals and hand skills (stainless steel, titanium, Inconel) * Assembling and welding using automated TIG welding machine to customer requirements using various metals and hand skills (stainless steel, titanium, Inconel) * Forming & trimming bellows on fully automated, semi-automated and manual bellows forming machine * To work with the laboratory to ensure that weld test is sufficient * To work to drawing and route cards requirements * To obtain and maintain Operator verification approval stamps * To work efficiently within agreed standards * To assist in introducing new techniques and improved methods of working where possible * To be responsible for general housekeeping and tidiness on the shop * To bring forward ideas to improve and reduce costs in production where possible * To be conversant with all relevant AWPS and operating procedures used on the above job description * To be familiar with the Health and Safety and Fire policies for the company and to attend mandatory updates where required * Flexible attitude towards work/teamwork
