The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Responsible for carrying out the smooth running of the Quality function and ensuring that the Company continues to meet the quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the quality function operates in accordance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
- Contribute to the development of quality systems and strategy to deliver continuous improvement and promote a quality improvement culture.
- First article inspection and compiling first article inspection.
- Must be able to read and understand multi-level drawings and specifications.
- Test to procedures and filling out of acceptance test reports.
- Conversant with the F.A.I inspection process and the generating of reports.
- Computer literate.
- Testing: Continuity, Dielectric testing, Insulation testing, Bonding testing, Fault finding and function testing.
- Knowledge of IFE systems.
- Drawing error/liaise with design/supplier.
- Raising of non-conformance reports.
- Maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with company regulations and certifications.
- Support the management team to develop, implement and maintain effective quality assurance systems.
- Review and evaluate process quality data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure processes are compliant with regulations and quality standards.
- Willing to work overtime including evenings and weekends is essential when required.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of EASA 21 and/or 145 regulatory requirements as well as AS9100 Rev D aerospace quality standard.
- In depth knowledge of quality management principles, tools and techniques.

- Possess strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Professional experience
- Experience in a Quality role.
- Working knowledge of Airbus and or Boeing systems and processes.
- Any additional academic quality qualification such as a CQI approved qualification.
