Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading, managing and developing the manufacturing engineering function to ensure the delivery of robust repeatable products and manufacturing processes ensuring optimum work centre performance and product delivery. This role provides Manufacturing Engineering leadership through the New Product Introduction (NPI) and serial build phases, drives improvements in quality, cost, and delivery, and ensures compliance with all the applicable standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Manufacturing Engineering function.
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering production support for new product introduction (NPI).
- Provide timely manufacturing Engineering lineside factory support to ensure delivery of NPI projects meet agreed schedules.
- Provide industrialisation support for serial build manufacture (WI s and tooling definition etc).
- Provide timely function support for Design for Manufacture's product.
