The Resourcing Officer will play a key role in supporting the organisation with recruitment needs. Acting as a first point of contact to attract, select, and onboard suitable candidates in a timely and cost-effective way. The Resourcing Officer will liaise with managers to ensure smooth recruitment processes whilst contributing to a positive recruitment and onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for indirect vacancies, from recruitment requests through to onboarding.
  • Advise hiring managers on appropriate recruitment strategies, including advertising channels and selection methods.
  • Publish engaging and compliant job vacancies via internal systems, job boards, and external platforms.
  • Screen applications against essential and desirable criteria whilst using fair and consistent methods.
  • Arrange and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Support hiring managers in the interview process and represent HR in the interview panel.
  • Manage onboarding of new employees - offer letters, contracts, references, right-to-work checks, inductions etc.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs.
  • Provide guidance on recruitment policies, procedures, and best practice whilst ensuring recruitment processes comply with company policies and employment law.
