Purpose Supporting the Configuration Manager in the management activity that applies technical and administrative direction over the life cycle of ACS products.

Covering key areas of configuration management planning, change control, and Configuration Status Account.

Key Responsibilities Configuration Management Planning o Supporting the EDES (Airbus) / SCN (Boeing) / ACS (UK) Ltd change process o Reviewing company MPS in alignment with EDES/SCN/ACS point of embodimento Producing Impact Assessments to ensure robust and lowest impact points of embodiment along with buy in from the rest of the business.

Change Control.

Processing Change Requests Supporting weekly Change Review Board (CRB) Updating DOCR adding and changing CR budgets in alignment with approved CRs Configuration Status Accounting o Reporting As Designed As Planned As Built configurations. o Interrogating Evolution, 3Dx and OCE to confirm the above statuses.

Working with Engineering, Planning, Operations and Quality to resolve any configuration findings.

Development of better ways of working o Working with IT to develop better ways of extracting key information from the various systems to support standard Configuration Management Reporting This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.

The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.

Key Performance Measures Achievement of On Time Delivery (OTD) for Configuration Deliverable data Key Challenges Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplined Engineering and Production team.

Knowledge, Education & Experience

Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing & design processes.

Experience delivering and reporting of KPIs.

Strong development and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across multiple disciplines.

Demonstrate good understanding of Engineering and Production practices.

Proficient in general computer skills (MS-Word, Excel, Adobe, photo software, etc.)

Education: Degree, HND, other similar qualification in engineering or equivalent experience in aircraft industry.

Skills and competencies required: Proficient understanding of Configuration Management practices.

Good analytical skills.

Ability to extract key data from the company systems to support clear reporting.

Capable of conveying clearly and concisely complex issues with all members of the design and production organisation.

Good interpersonal skills, an ability to deal effectively with and coordinate multi disciplined teams.

Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications and processes.

A thorough understanding of the manufacturing process and systems (Evolution, MPS, MRP) Receptive to new ideas and concepts and capable of absorbing and interpreting input from other departments.

Supports team working to help strengthen relationships.

Understanding of health and safety practices.

Full driving license preferred.

Professional and works ethically and with integrity in the role.

Professional experience 4+ years Engineering or Operational related experience.
