A permanent (full-time) role at Gatwick Airport (RH6 0JW). The position requires a background check. As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will support operational management, drive safety initiatives, and shape operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to operational management and aligned functions, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, CAA guidance, and DHL standards.
  • Support the rollout of HSE standardisation and improvement initiatives aligned with DHL and customer goals.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating HSE policies across the station.
  • Partner with the HSE Business Partner to drive engagement and embed a Safety First & Just Culture mindset.
  • Coordinate HSE activities on site, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments.
  • Experience in a safety or operational role with safety accountability.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills – able to build trust with site teams and customers.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify root causes and drive improvement.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels.
