PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Drive team performance against KPIs, safety, and service targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team through regular engagement and performance management
  • Plan and support impactful engagement activities and site‑wide events
  • Coordinate key events such as Long Service Awards, World Food Day, and cultural initiatives
  • Support performance reporting ensuring accuracy and actionable insight for customers
  • Maintain compliance tools and contribute to operational forums
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and team performance
  • Support investigations and ensure compliance with operational standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support business continuity

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience within a fast‑paced, pressurised operational environment (aviation experience preferred)
  • Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across all levels
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational setting
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with operational systems and performance reporting tools
  • Experience within the aviation or airline industry is advantageous
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (essential)
