Position Overview
You must have aviation experience.
Pay Rate: £39,655. Grade: K. Contract Type: Temporary, 6 months. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (some flexibility required). Location: Can be based at Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, Brackmills or East Midlands Airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive business partner, challenging and supporting the operation to identify and maximise opportunities for growth, renewals, and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key customer accounts, ensuring long‑term success and value.
- Lead the development of operational solutions that deliver clear, measurable business benefits for customers.
- Collaborate with operational teams to generate and sustain a strong pipeline of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and drive the successful delivery of change programmes and active projects, ensuring CI savings are achieved.
- Take full ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Ensure robust quality control across all projects, including effective risk, budget, and change management.
- Support the seamless implementation of new business wins, ensuring strong start‑up performance through structured project management.
- Manage weekly CI pipelines, including tracking, validation, and sign‑off with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate monthly reporting on CI performance, including actuals and forecast vs. in‑year budget.
- Work collaboratively with Operational Excellence teams, embedding the use of First Choice tools to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in Business Development / Solution Design roles.
- Experience in Project Management.
- A thorough knowledge of DSC's products, services, and sector business strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to ramp‑up quickly on new topics and dive into and understand operational content.
- Strong people and stakeholder management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence at a senior level.
- Willing to travel up to 50%.
