We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join a prestigious VIP Airline Lounge at London Heathrow Airport, delivering exceptional dining experiences to international travellers in a premium hospitality environment.
The duties of the Sous Chef will include:
- Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Supporting the Head Chef in menu planning and cost implementation of the kitchen.
- Writing menus with a variety of food options for Lounge guests.
- Enforcing health and safety.
- Managing the pass and ensuring food quality standards.
- Training kitchen staff and supervising kitchen stations.
The Skills and Experience required for this Sous Chef role:
- Sous Chef experience from a hotel, contract catering, restaurant, banqueting or similar environment.
- Experience managing a minimum of 500 covers per day.
- Experience in managing, training and developing kitchen personnel.
- Experience in producing European and Continental cuisine.
- The ability to work shifts to cover a roster that will include weekends and Bank Holidays.
- The ability to work shifts between 0530 hrs – 2230 hrs.
In return the Sous Chef will receive:
- Pay rate of £18.00 p/h - £19.23 p/h
- Minimum 40 hours + per week.
- Criminal Record Check (DBS) reimbursed after 4 weeks.

All successful candidates for this position will be subject to 5 years background checks to meet airport vetting and will also require a Police Clearance (DBS) check.
