We are currently recruiting experienced PSV Mechanics to join a busy and professional engineering team based near London Heathrow Airport.
This is an excellent opportunity for highly skilled coach mechanics or bus mechanics with a background in either electrical or mechanical repairs to join a growing company and enhance their skills.
The role will be shift based working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 12 hour day shifts between 0700/0800 hrs - 1700/1800 hrs.
The PSV Mechanic Role
- Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of buses and coaches ensuring the fleet is compliant with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults including accident repairs, minor welding, body and chassis repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Complete all maintenance records accurately.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
Previous experience as a PSV, Bus, Coach, HGV or Commercial Vehicle mechanic is required.
Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
