We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to collaborate with senior leadership to accelerate brand growth, expand our UK airport client base, and drive the promotion of our specialist recruitment and security vetting services. This is a full-time, Hybrid role working from our Head Office in Castle Donington (DE74 2SA) and will involve travel to UK airports.
As the Business Development Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities for recruitment and security vetting services using a variety of lead generation solutions
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of relationships with clients and creating strategies to meet sales and growth targets
- Owning full sales cycle – from lead generation/prospecting to contract and beyond
- Commercial negotiation of contracts and pricing to deliver profitable, value-driven solutions
- Conducting industry research using our in-house Media team, Labour Market and LinkedIn Talent Insights resources
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and business success
What you will bring to the role:
- A minimum of 3 years’ staffing and recruitment industry experience in a similar Business Development role where you have focused purely on New Business Sales
- A track record in selling a range of paid for staffing solutions ranging from contingent, exclusive, retained and RPO models
- Experience of supporting with bids/tenders and writing effective recruitment proposals
- Strong skills in Market Research, Strategic Planning, and Negotiation
- Effective Communication, Interpersonal, and Presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM Software (LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn Sales Navigator), Microsoft Office Suite, and Data Analysis
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and exceed targets

- £42,000 - £48,000 basic per annum + Uncapped OTE
