Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join one of our Clients in Coventry on a temp to perm basis. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out 3-4 drops per day, delivering goods safely and efficiently using a HIAB vehicle. The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle for deliveries.
- Perform 3-4 drops per day, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
- Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service with professionalism at all times.
- Valid Class 2 driving licence.
- CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Digi card (Digital Tachograph card).
- Clean driving record with no major endorsements.
- Previous experience operating a HIAB vehicle (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Up to £15 per hour.
