We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join a prestigious VIP Airline Lounge at London Heathrow Airport, delivering exceptional dining experiences to international travellers in a premium hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
- Support the Head Chef in menu planning and cost control of the kitchen.
- Write menus with a variety of food options for Lounge guests.
- Enforce health and safety standards.
- Manage the pass and ensure food quality standards.
- Train kitchen staff and supervise kitchen stations.
Qualifications
- Previous Sous Chef experience in a hotel, contract catering, restaurant, banqueting or similar environment.
- Experience managing a minimum of 500 covers per day.
- Experience in training and developing kitchen personnel.
- Experience producing European and Continental cuisine.
- Ability to work shifts to cover a schedule that includes weekends and Bank Holidays and between 0530 hrs and 2230 hrs.
