We are seeking Kitchen Porter to join a fast-paced professional kitchen team in a VIP Lounge based at Stansted Airport. The role requires maintaining exceptional cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas with energy and efficiency and supporting the kitchen team with basic food handling duties.

β’ Full-time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

As a Kitchen Porter, you would be responsible for:
β’ Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
β’ Collecting and washing up dishes using an industrial dishwasher.
β’ Ensure storerooms, refrigerators and freezers are organised and tidy.
β’ Assisting deliveries by moving goods from one location to another.
β’ Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment to maximise efficiency and prolong life.
β’ Ensure the cleanliness standards back of house and front of house are maintained.
The essential requirements to be successful as a Kitchen Porter include:
β’ Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Helper, Catering Assistant, General Hand or Kitchen Hand.
β’ Good communication skills (spoken and written).
β’ A flexible βcan doβ attitude.
β’ The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
β’ Initiative and ability to work independently.
β’ Team player.
β’ Excellent organisational skills.
β’ Ability to work shifts between 0830 β 2230 hrs.
β’ Ability to commute by public transport to and from London Heathrow Airport.
