  • The Role

    • Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles airside at Heathrow Airport
    • Transporting airfreight cargo from the warehouses to the aircraft and airport facilities
    • Loading and unloading palletised freight using specialist equipment
    • Following strict aviation safety and security procedures
    • Short distance driving
    • Not driving on civilian roads

    Candidate Requirements

    • Minimum age 21 (insurance purposes)
    • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
    • Proven HGV Class 2 driving experience
    • Must have 4-6 months of experience
  • Previous airside experience is beneficial but not essential – full training provided
  • Ability to pass a DBS background check
  • Willingness to work early and late shifts on a 4 on / 2 off rota
  • Must be able to pass a driver medical and colour vision test
