Aviation Recruitment Network LTD (ARNL) are recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 Drivers, offering this fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in the Cargo Industry.
As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will receive:
- £18.90 p/h between Monday to Friday
- £20.40 p/h for Nights and Weekend
- Work-life balance with Monday – Friday OR 4 on 4 off shifts – Days OR Nights
- Full-time Temp to Perm Contract with flexible Weekly OR Monthly pay
- 10 hrs – 12 hrs shifts, and free parking in ULEZ free Zone
What ARNL is looking for in an HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Ability to provide 5-years employment background checks with a clean drug and alcohol test
- Minimum 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience and must be over 25 years of age
- Ability to provide a clean Criminal Record Check (DBS) and No IN OR DR
- Excellent written and spoken communication, with attention to detail
- Experience in operating roller beds, Fridge and curtain sider is preferred
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Complete necessary air-cargo paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel usage
- Perform vehicle safety checks, and perform necessary manual handling duties
- Delivering and collecting airfreight to and from various UK airport locations
- Plan route, safely operate commercial vehicle adhering to road safety laws and tachograph laws
