Location: Near Heathrow
Shifts: 4 on 4 off (nights) | 19:00pm – 07:00am
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced AOG Operator to join a fast-growing freight forwarder near Heathrow.
This night-shift role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure and has a strong background in air freight and time-critical logistics. You’ll be the first point of contact for urgent AOG shipments, handling everything from export entries and documentation to post-flight procedures and cost control.
What an AOG Operator Will Be Doing:
Managing AOG shipments and responding to updates in real time
Creating export/import entries in line with HMRC regulations
Preparing MAWBs, HAWBs, and other key documentation
Coordinating collections and deliveries with vendors
Resolving customer and supplier queries quickly and professionally
Monitoring costs and ensuring accurate invoicing
What We’re Looking For in an AOG Operator:
Strong knowledge of air freight operations (MAWB/HAWB)
Familiarity with UK customs/export procedures
Proactive and highly organised, with strong attention to detail
Experience with AOG or time-critical shipments preferred
Able to provide a full 5-year reference history & clear DBS
