As part of our continued expansion programme, we have an opportunity for a Recruitment & Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Onboarding team and provide payroll, post-recruitment, and onboarding admin support from January 2026. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension of permanency subject to business needs. This is a full-time office-based role working from our East Midlands Airport office (DE74 2SA).

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Recruitment & Payroll Administrator will include:

  • Assisting with weekly payroll.
  • Invoice queries.
  • Administer and apply for criminal record checks.
  • Process applications for airport ID passes.
  • Liaising with employees and delegates to gather HR onboarding information.
  • Update training records, HR Databases and Recruitment Trackers.
  • Preparing recruitment and onboarding reports for the senior leadership team.
  • Performing high volume accurate data entry.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • It is essential that you have administration experience in a similar environment, such as HR, high-volume recruitment, or high-volume employee onboarding.
  • Strong IT skills - proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and an aptitude for in-house systems.
  • Comfortable with telephone-based activities.
  • Highly competent in working with multiple data spreadsheets.
  • A degree of attention to detail.
