SALARY: £30,000 – £50,000 per annum + £30,000 OTE
To assist with their growth strategy for 2025, we are supporting a leading freight logistics company with their search for a driven, entrepreneurial Freight Account Manager to join their team in Hull.
Role Overview: You’ll be directly involved in generating new business, managing existing accounts, and overseeing the end-to-end process of cargo movements by air, sea, and land.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cold calling, lead generation, and customer appointments to acquire new business.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximize account growth.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and competitive pricing structures.
- Coordinate shipments across land, air, and sea, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of freight.
What We Are Looking For:
- 2+ years of Freight Account Management experience.
- Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and land.
- Knowledge of haulier networks and logistics operations is highly advantageous.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Benefits:
- Basic Salary of up to £50k + uncapped OTE circa £30k+ pa (dep on exp).

- Generous holiday entitlement: 20 days holiday + bank holidays. After 2 years of service, you will receive 2 additional days, with a further day added each year thereafter, up to 30 days maximum.
