We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems.
- Carry out repairs, component replacements, modifications, and defect rectification.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved maintenance data, aircraft manuals, and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect aircraft systems and components to identify defects and potential safety issues.
- Complete accurate maintenance records, technical logs, and documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance control, engineering, flight operations, and other technical teams.
- Support aircraft maintenance checks, including transit, daily, A-check, and other scheduled inspections.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and control of tools, equipment, and aircraft components.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and occupational health procedures.
- Report maintenance findings and recurring defects to the relevant engineering or management team.
- Maintain awareness of applicable aviation regulations, airworthiness requirements, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Relevant degree, diploma, or technical qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid AME license or relevant aviation authority certification, where applicable.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with commercial or regional aircraft.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety.
