As an Engine Mechanic, you will be instrumental in the workshop's core activities, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work aligns with the highest industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. Core Engine Platforms: Your expertise will be applied across a diverse range of modern engine types, including: CFM56, LEAP, RB211, V2500CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G, and Trent700.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks within the workshop in strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standard by rigorously following approved technical documentation (ESM, CMM, SRM, IPC).
- Contribute to the efficient turnaround time (TAT) of engine inputs while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
- Actively identify technical discrepancies, formulate viable solutions, and lead implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate effectively with team leaders, workshop managers, and cross‑functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Uphold stringent company Health & Safety policies to foster a safe and compliant working environment.
- Provide essential near‑wing and on‑wing field support as operational needs require.
Candidate Profile: Skills and Experience
We are seeking dedicated professionals with a proven background in aerospace engine MRO.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of a time‑served aerospace industry apprenticeship.
- Minimum of two years’ post‑apprenticeship experience.
- Demonstrable hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced engine shop environment, specializing in maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
- Prior company approval on at least one of the specified engine types (CFM56, LEAP, RB211, V2500CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G, or Trent700).
- Comprehensive familiarity with engine shop manuals, relevant ATA chapters, and regulatory standards.
- A solid understanding of critical aerospace regulations, specifically Part 145 and FAA requirements.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to thrive both independently and as a vital team member.
Preferred Certifications and Experience (Training provided where applicable):
- Experience in borescope inspection.
- Current certifications in Human Factors training, EWIS Level 1 & 2, and Fuel Tank Safety Level 1 & 2 (training can be provided).
- Possession of a Forklift license (training can be arranged).
