The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Role Conditions

  • Working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00 & Friday, 07:30 – 12:30
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use a range of machinery including lathes, mills, jig borers and grinders to perform repairs to customers' equipment in accordance with their order requirements and the approved technical data
  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks to machinery as required
  • Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE
  • Removal and installation of bushings/bearings/cups/liners as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering data and drawings
  • Previous experience within the aerospace industry desirable
  • Right to work in the UK
