Role Conditions:
- Working Monday to Wednesday, 07:00 – 17:30 & Thursday, 07:00 – 16:30

About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Quality Control Inspector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Quality & Inspection departments, ensuring all work carried out is to the required standards and meets customer specifications
- Carry out first off and final inspections of the manufactured components to ensure compliance
- First off inspection of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled parts
- Stage and final inspection of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled parts
- Ensure all work carried out is within customer and industry specifications
- Produce inspection reports & First Article Inspection to AS9102 requirements
- Identify and report non-conforming products
- Support MRB (RCCA) activities and maintaining records (Q-Pulse)
- Measuring of components with various hand tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with inspection procedures and keeping relevant records up to date
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Ensure the cleanliness, neatness and orderliness (5S) of area of responsibility
- Ensure all documentation is in line with customer and business requirements
- Work closely with quality and production teams to maintain high standards
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous fine limit technical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 desirable
- Previous experience using hand measurement tools
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques
- Use of PC and related programmes
- Good understanding of engineering drawings
- Right to work in the UK
