About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, fault diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of aircraft electrical and electromechanical components in a workshop environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on aerospace or aviation maintenance experience who is confident working to high technical and quality standards within a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, diagnose, repair, and overhaul aircraft electrical and electromechanical components
- Carry out fault-finding and rectification using technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and test equipment
- Complete component testing in accordance with OEM, CMM, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed to aviation quality and safety standards
- Accurately complete workshop documentation and maintenance records
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Support continuous improvement activities within the workshop
- Work collaboratively with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians to meet turnaround times and customer requirements
- Comply with company procedures, EASA/CAA regulations, and health & safety requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience within an aviation or aerospace workshop environment is essential
- Experience repairing or overhauling aircraft electrical or electromechanical components
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
- Good understanding of aviation maintenance standards and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
