About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a range of aircraft components, including engine‑related parts and aircraft insulation blankets. This role is suited to someone with a strong aviation maintenance background and hands‑on workshop experience working to high quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, overhaul, and maintain aircraft mechanical components and assemblies
- Carry out maintenance and refurbishment of aircraft insulation blankets and engine‑related components
- Perform fault diagnosis, disassembly, cleaning, repair, reassembly, and testing of components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and component maintenance manuals (CMMs)
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OEM specifications, EASA/CAA regulations, and company procedures
- Complete maintenance documentation and workshop records accurately
- Use workshop equipment, tooling, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop
- Work closely with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians to meet customer and production requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working within an aviation or aerospace workshop environment is essential
- Experience working on aircraft components such as insulation blankets, engine components, or associated mechanical assemblies
- Good understanding of aircraft maintenance standards and workshop practices
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault‑finding skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
