JMC Aviation are working with an airline based in London, looking to recruit a new B1 Licensed Engineer to join their team. This client is an aircraft maintenance subsidiary which provides support services such as fleet maintenance, cabin interior conversions and general ramp maintenance work for both their own fleet and other airlines. This vacancy is available due to business turnovers. This is a Permanent Position based in London. 5/5/4 mixed shift pattern, working 12 hour shifts.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to carry out line maintenance on company aircraft including scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification in accordance with company, manufacturer and CAA procedures and legislation.

Other Duties Involve

  • Carry out scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification on company aircraft
  • Maintain the highest airworthiness, quality, safety and performance standards to ensure all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft maintenance and inspection are complied with
  • Exercise fully the privileges of the company authorisations held
  • Support company charters and the recovery of AOG and casualty aircraft as required across the company network
  • Work to the required company and health & safety standards
  • Carry out or arrange for the maintenance and/or repair of company tooling, equipment and vehicles
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders
  • Complete and maintain compliance with all company training requirements required to carry out the role
  • Support Supervisors and Managers with any required projects

Required Skills and Attributes

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1 licence with at least one type rating held (type courses available)
  • Experience with both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
  • Ability to hold an airport restricted pass and hold an airside driving permit
