JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Luton looking to recruit a new Duty Manager to join their team. This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, offering a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services including component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support. This is a permanent position based in Luton.

The Role
The Primary Purpose Of The Duty Manager
The Duty Manager will have an aircraft engineering background within a CAA/EASA environment, and will lead and manage the day-to-day operational activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the station. The role will cover administrative and managerial duties including workload management and booking control, production planning, and will be responsible for supervising and managing staff on shift.
To be successful in this role the Duty Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Licence: UKCAA B1 with relevant type ratings and 6 months of recency in the past 2 years
- Type Rating: A320 (PW Engine)
- Proven Experience: Base / line maintenance expertise on commercial aircraft
- Qualification: Diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
- Work Eligibility: We have a very competitive sponsorship scheme which allows for you to move to the UK.
