Our client is a well-established charter airline operating its own EASA Part-145 certified Maintenance Organisation based in Europe. As part of their strategic development, they are seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the organisation’s technical and operational activities.
Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the maintenance centre, ensuring full compliance with EASA and AESA regulations, while driving operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with EASA and AESA standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager and other nominated post holders.
- Manage technical staff and performance evaluations.
- Supervise audits and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and authorities.
- Support business development and strategic planning.
Requirements
- University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance (Part-145, CAMO, or similar).
- Proven experience of the B737 fleet.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Experience with SMS and Compliance Monitoring Programs.
- Excellent planning, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
