We’re excited to offer a long-term opportunity for CAA B1 Licensed Engineers to work on the iconic B747-400 and / or B777 at East Midlands Airport (EMA).
Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom
Position: CAA B1 Licensed Engineer
Aircraft Types: B747-400 and / or B777
Contract Type: Permanent (sponsored opportunity)
Shift Pattern: 5/5/4
Start Date: Rolling starts throughout the year
Pay Rates: Market-leading and recently updated
Line maintenance and flying spanner duties available
Engine conversion courses available for B1 engineers on the B747
Requirements
- Valid UK CAA Part 66 B1 License
- Type rating on B747-400 and / or B777 (GE90)
- Valid training certificates: Safety Training + Human Factors, EWIS (Modules 1 & 2), and FTS Level 2
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing aircraft systems and components
- Performing repairs and component replacements
- Conducting inspections and functional testing
- Certifying aircraft serviceability in line with CAA regulations
- Ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards
