Lupos Global has a requirement for a UK CAA Maintrol Engineer (Line Maintenance) to be based in Manchester. This is a permanent position starting ASAP.
In this role you will act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third-party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.
Main Duties Of The Role:
- Manage scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and maintenance programme requirements.
- Control and monitor Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating required spares, tooling and documentation.
- Support aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty-time limitations.
- Provide real-time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers during in-flight or ground-based operational issues.
- Coordinate information flow following aircraft incidents and contribute to recovery planning.
- Allocate aircraft in line with operational, engineering and maintenance priorities.
- Responsible for improving aircraft and engineering performance through proactive use of aircraft monitoring and prognostic tools.
- Provide specialist technical support as required with due regard for safety, technical, regulatory and commercial requirements.
