The predicted salary is between 27.5 - 27.5 £ per hour.

Location: Cosford, Shropshire, England (Wolverhampton area)

Job Type: Onsite contract – ongoing 37 hours per week, 44.4 weeks per year.

Compensation: PAYE £27.50 per hour; Umbrella PSC £37.68 per hour. The role is in scope of IR35 due to public sector.

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday; 08:30 – 16:30 Friday. Additional hours may be required with time off in lieu.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach technical training to multi‑national students aged 16–35 in classroom and aircraft hangar environments.
  • Prepare lessons and produce training support material.
  • Control and supervise students, applying Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent training in Avionics.
  • ONC, BTEC or NVQ in the Avionics Trade Discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years practical experience in the trade.
  • Capability to deliver a 10–15 minute presentation at interview.

Security & Clearance:

  • Undergo MOD BPSS Security Clearance at job offer stage.
