Aircraft Mechanic – RAF Brize Norton, Carterton (OX18 3LX).
Role Purpose
Supporting line maintenance on the A400M, carrying out scheduled, unscheduled and out‑of‑phase maintenance in accordance with Technical Documentation and Company Procedures. Occasional support to bay environments may also be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance tasks as directed.
- Support other trades to ensure safe, effective working practices.
- Book onto tasks correctly and follow required processes.
- Move heavy equipment, tooling and spares as required.
- Assist with aircraft cleaning and maintain clean working areas.
- Service aircraft toilets.
- Contain fuel and oil spillages.
- Assist with aircraft manoeuvring.
- Ensure waste separation and recycling compliance.
- Report safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, serviceable condition.
- Support off‑site requirements (e.g., AOG, Line) when requested.
